I am also well versed in drug knowledge/experiences and thought the same thing initially but you have to consider that the C₉H₉NO₃(Adrenochrome) used by these people on Erowid were found labelled in some kids dads tool shed and synthesized/ordered from a Chinese lab. The whole point mentioned in every media reference(there's more than I thought)make it very clear that to be the crazy drug it claims to have the potential to be it needs to be extracted from a human adrenal gland, This supports the theory of drinking adrenalized(tortured, high stressed) blood having a different effect as well. You can't really use these 3 experiences as a frame of reference to say human adrenal glands/adrenochrome aren't heavily psychoactive, there would have to be some actual scientific studies done using a basically tortured humans blood and/or adrenal gland that was freshly extracted which won't legally/publically happen in America in our lifetime.

I agree, I've looked into this compound long before pizzagate. Who knows if there isn't something more to this, what if these experiences were put out there to discredit adrenachrome. Also you can't always trust Chinese vendors.

Adrenochrome is adrenochrome is adrenochrome. Synthesized or extracted makes no difference. Now maybe theres another chemical in the adrenal gland that is responsible for the psychotropic effects reported, but it's not adrenochrome.

Since Adrenochrome as you state C₉H₉NO₃ Is technically oxidized adrenaline, typically by silver oxide, hence the name. A study done in 1959 by Dr. Abram Hoffer and Humphry Osmond, that metabolized Adrenochome, which is Adrenolutin, may cause schizophrenic like hallucinations, however this study was terminated before coming to a conclusion. really the composition would be the same regardless where it came from, therefore wouldn't change the effects. This whole "hurr durr kids being tortured in alaska for adrenochrome" bait really just seems as a ploy to discredit PG

Your last sentence makes me suspicious. It is not the attitude of an open minded researcher.

None of the studies involve getting adrenochrome directly from the source.

I appreciate open discussions. I think hearing as many sides to an issue as you can is very important to coming to an understanding about a topic. What I don't like about this post is how it feels like its dissuading research altogether through the use of name calling.

Why not just state the reasons for disbelieving in the topic and then let people discuss it. Instead OP ends it by insulting anyone with an opposing view.

I see topics duscussed here and on other boards regarding logistic routes, and possible places people are being trafficked and exploited something solid. Nearly every thread someone has to add the whole adrenochome meme. It looks like an attempt to discredit, something the msm can jump on and say PG researchers get their facts from a fictional movie. Really it sounds really dumb to someone with basic knowledge of organic chemistry that has read all research from likes of shulgin, mckenna, oswald etc . Yeah I oppose the view because its wrong and people pushing it are poorly read, or just shills.

My drug knowledge (use, synthesis, theoretical) is vast and I can confirm that adrenochrome is just oxidized adrenaline and should produce no psychotropic effects.

Here's another way to do it:

  1. ) it's not on the DEA schedule
  2. ) You can buy it from chemical supply houses

So if it's not on the schedule and you can buy it from supply houses, then it's bullshit. Sorry. To quote Terence McKenna: "legal means it doesn't work"

Thanks for saying this op, I'm tired of the adrenocrome thing

SO, I might have wanted to try higher dosages just in case this could intensify any effects (let's say 250mg orally, 100mg snorted and 100mg vaporised), or I might have wanted to try the other adrenochrome (the one sold at 110euro/50g) just to make sure it is the same...but I didn't as I had better things to do with my money and I was pretty sure that even if this would give me some more effect, that would still be of poor recreational/spiritual interest.

Also, about possible secondary effects of adrenochrome: as it is an haemostatic compound (prevents capillary bleeding during injury) it is not impossible that excessive use would end up causing blood circulation troubles, furthermore some scientists seem to say that adrenochrome is known to cause cardiovascular troubles.

To conclude I would say that this is an uninteresting substance to my opinion, and furthermore it's possibly a dangerous one.

What is this person's point?

Could it be that the substance doesn't work, but there are enough myths surrounding it that people are willing to commit crimes in pursuit of the legendary high? I'll bet at least one murder has been commited over a supposed fountain of youth or perpetual motion machine.
