This, Archive sites can be taken down at any moment. Save web pages and archive to flash drives. People claim to be fighting the system then still trusting the system. Always archive off site.

Local copies are good for personal use and everybody should make them of everything (FFS a 64GB flash drive is $5-$10), but you want witnesses, or hard copies with a notary or government seal for anything you'd want to use in a court of law.

If you want to make an affidavit relating to digital media, you can record a hash or digital signature on the affidavit so that there's a solid link between the original version of your media and your testimony.
