falseflag warning. Laptop held by Secret Service with this importance would not likely to be left unguarded. This might be a pre-news for even a bigger falseflag. BBC does not belong to my favorites after their own child porn scandal, and let's not forget where the head was moved then...

EDIT: False Flag discussion here https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1727570

Who leaves a laptop (even WITHOUT sensitive information) in a car parked on a Brooklyn street?

In an UNLOCKED car in Brooklyn. WTF. They did say that there are many layers of security. I'm hoping this is just a random douchebag drug addict looking for quick money and not a calculated theft. But why in the world did they report it?? You'd think you'd want to keep that under wraps and also not explain what was ON laptop. Worst case scenario is it's a set up for a false flag at Trump tower blamed on info obtained from laptop.

I dunno, it wouldn't surprise me, the people are kind of sheep, and people in power know that. They don't expect things like this to happen because we are so docile.

It's trending that they evacuated the empire state building because of a "small fire". This made my tin foil hat tingle.

Could be a diversion so that we don't talk about the 33mm us govt emails that got hacked, as I always say, be cautious.....

Good thinking. A well planned falseflag would also have multiple goals. Put Trump on his toes? Discrediting another related leak in advance? Misguiding journalists (as you said)?

My conclusion on falseflag came from the unbelievable fact that Secret Service would ACTUALLY share a STATEMENT when someting like this happened to them? In their own will, without anybody even asking? Why would they, if not in a purpose!

having worked with classified info in the past, I can tell you that your view of our military is incredibly optimistic. It's easier to google and find classified information than to check it out. Being in the secret service doesn't mean you never lose important shit. This is particularly true when theft is involved.

The SS wouldn't have info on the 650,000 Weiner mails. This looks like more sketchy spy craft shit to be honest.

Yes but now they can be leaked without the blame falling on NYPD Detectives or the FBI....hmmm.

Ahh, good point. I didn't think of it that way. You might want to add that as an edit to the original post.

I'm skeptical though because @AreWeSure has been gas lighting people about those 650,000 emails for several days now. That means it's their primary gas lighting target right now which suggests to me they've been working the NYPD over real good.

I've heard that corroborated here as well:

https://youtu.be/pnAxJRxONYU?t=43

The NYPD was threatened by the IC bringing up the whole Eric Garner thing again. Let's see what AreWeSure has to say about it.

AreWeSure was the NYPD worked over pretty good not to leak those emails?

Also forgive the personal question AreWeSure but did you grow up in the same country we did? All of us here thought the government was there to protect and serve not to shake down and gas light. Right? We don't want to live in a country where we live in fear of the government.

That's what worries me AreWeSure. I don't know if the jaded ruling class elite inside the beltway realize about roughly, give or take, ball parking it, just spit balling here but roughly 350,000,000 citizens of the United States hold the evidently old fashioned and out dated belief that the government isn't out to get them. Not to belabor the point but those hay seeds, those 350,000,000 rubes believe the government would never think of killing 3,000+ of its people in cold blood on 9/11.

Were this latest cluster fuck ever to challenge old beliefs and as in my case cause me to go back and reexamine the evidence of 9/11 and shockingly conclude the Conspiritards were right after all then all hell could break lose in very short order, in only 2 or 3 months.

;-)

Actually, I believe that the SS has some of the most powerful surveillance capabilities of any government agency/unit. George Webb talks about how they dug into Chaffetz's past. They are on the level of NSA/CIA, even not even more powerful. So it is entirely possible that they have tons of info.

The question is whether Trump is so likeable to the SS, and military personnel generally, that they are using their powers to sneak him information and potentially leak it to damage Clinton.

And if he does, they know that this will lead to a civil war. Some underground data has come out that Hillary sent nukes to N. Korea and China. She was preparing everyone for all out world war. I think they are still desperately trying to get this war on that they had planned when she became president.

It's hard to say what this is. It's spy vs spy shit, so what is reported on may simply be what someone wants us to believe. It could be good for our cause, or it could be bad. Time will tell.

If anything comes of this, I would guess it would be disinfo. For example, stuff that looks like a smoking gun which they then easily debunk to further discredit the idea that the Clintons are into child trafficking.

And he took an Uber. As if they couldn't figure out exactly were he was picked up, what he looked like, etc. And he had Uber take him to the car with the laptop. This all sounds so wrong.

And why don't they used FB excellent facial recognition to find him. Unless it took place in an extremely rural area, the govt can find and identify anyone within a matter of hours at most. They just pretend that they can't.

If this wasn't intentional, how could it possibly get into the news? It's not like the Secret Service has any obligation to confirm or deny they've lost a laptop...

Yeah who leaves a laptop with sensitive data on it out in your car, when your at your own home. Another corrupt individual feeding data to the other side

If you were a trained presidents secret service agent with highly sensitive information pertaining to the leak of potentially classified state secrets on an unencrypted laptop, are you letting that thing out of your sight? Come to think of it why was secret service handling that data at all.
