Use anti-trust laws to break up Google. That's part of the reason they split the company up and went under Alphabet, but they're still a monopoly and need to be broken up.

Antitrust laws seemed to cease to exist after the Microsoft case.

It's time they come back. Facebook and Twitter are also in the crosshairs.

How difficult is it to use another search engine? Try Yandex. Its Russian, known for suppressing Russian news much like Google suppresses American news but makes American news freely available in your searching. Try it. You will notice a significant difference. We don't need Google!!!

This is not about who we choose to conduct our searches. It is about Google censoring pizzagate results to limit exposure to the mass audience that Google controls through searches. It's about spreading the truth, and Google actively trying to block it.

WE THE PEOPLE ASK THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

Stop asking the government for anything...stop giving your power and energy over to them.

Stop recognizing the slavemaster as such. The folly lies in acknowledging the slavemaster by asking for more rights.

google is a private company. if you want to do something to make them hear you, either sue them or boycott them.

Have people really become this fucking lap doggy?? SO.. corporations can consolidate power to the extent where they supersede the power of government and with full dominion over information, they can decide to extinguish the First Amendment, at will. That is what we are seeing right now. Do you not realize the Twitter, Youtube, Reddit, Facebook and Google are all colluding to cover crimes and manipulate the flow of information ? What if GOVERNMENT was actually behind these companies or had total control of them without your knowledge? OH Gee... ' it's a corporation! take them to court!! ' ( insert Dr. Evil laugh here )

It's a matter of the law. Here again, you refuse to respect the law, yet you want the law to prevail over the criminals of pizzagate. You are a hypocrite.

just because they have a large audience doesn't mean they have to observe the first amendment. the 1st was meant to protect the citizen from the government, not from the private corporations. if you dont like twitter (like me) go to another platform (e.g. voat, *chan) and convince others to use them as well.

First Amendment applies to the government, not to private corporations. You have no right to use Google. They can do whatever they want with their search engine.

I use DuckDuckGo.com anyway. No tracking.

Why the hell would you ask the government to stymie Google censorship? Google is the government. Have you ever seen that report on the revolving door between the federal government and Google? There are over 200 people who left the government to go work for Google, and vice versa:

https://googletransparencyproject.org/articles/googles-revolving-door-us

They're not gonna do jack shit. They're gonna laugh right in your face, the bastards.

What you wrote is correct. However, technically Google is a non-governmental corporation.

Sounds like they're a brass plate company and a front for government control of information in violation of the First Amendment.

Technically they're a government contractor. Same with facecuck.

As a supporter of Pizzagate, I still can't sign this petition. It's a matter of constitutionality. Google can do whatever they want as far as I care, and if we try to stop them, we become Europe. Let's not get distracted here.

Parent company Alphabet has over 200 companies under its control and a half a trillion market cap.

It's a very powerful company especially if it colludes with other corporations to limit free speech. Like now.

[–] uvoaterd 0 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago

The only way they could do this is if the government bans contracts to any company that restricts free speech, as should be the case anyway. Google as a private company has the right to push any narrative or censor anything they want. Tied to the governments hip it is unacceptable.

Private and Public corporations have no obligation to link to, host, or promote anybody's speech, nor should they.

We can certainly ask them to stop sending tax payer money to google and using them as a govt contractor. Why the fuck was Eric Schmidt in anyway associated with war in Syria? I don't personally use them, but their involvement in the govt needs to be shutdown.

Correct, this sub went authoritarian now that Trump is power.

At best, break up these monopolies. But there are plenty of alternatives to google.
