Today, the pieces fell together for me and I feel that they were sending a message with this album

Just so you know, this is the type of stuff people say in early stages of schizophrenia. It usually kicks in around or after the age of 25.

I guess it's always good to keep an open mind and be aware of your own mental state. He's just giving him a heads up. Technically he is right there, so the guy may want to be careful and avoid drug-taking or anything else which could exacerbate a potential mental illness. It's just that this sort of statement seems to be the step before proper "delusion of reference" behavior, which is a key criteria used to diagnose skitzophrenia. Thankfully he didn't say "I feel they were sending ME a message", because then it would be pretty clear cut that he has some issues.

But not trying to imply anything myself here. To clarify, I just think the dude spent too long thinking about a song, not that he's mentally ill.

Before 25, I worked in a hospital and most cases I saw were late teens.
