Report it, demand to know who he was , there must be records of who he was, possiblity of other victims to come forward when this shit hits the fan

Victims need to confront their victimizers and also get acknowledged for what they survived. It's a crying shame that the judicial system hides underage victims and prevents them from confronting and healing from the trauma. Expose all the pedos and bring them to justice!

I understand this sentiment and support the feeling behind it, but a big part of why those of us who have been abused never file charges against our abusers is because we don't want to face them or their defenders ever again. When you face your abuser and tell them off, all they do is tell you how it was your fault and how they had a worse deal than you did.

There needs to be something in place that protects victims more but still allows them to put their abusers away. That may be changing society to view sexual abuse (and domestic abuse) the same as a random violence. People should not get lighter sentences for hurting people in their own families.

Agreed with @Annon365. Also you mentioned that you've been suppressing your memories. In which case, I recommend going to a therapist and exploring it. The more details you can relay the better you can come to persecuting them.

God has a plan. He gave us free will and this is what has come of it. This earthly life is a blip on the screen compared to eternity. Hell will become very real to these perverts who are abusing kids. Jesus spoke a parable that I think you may find helpful as I did:

Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13:24-30‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ http://bible.com/114/mat.13.24-30.nkjv

It is in God's plan to let the evil live among the good. Rest assured, all will be brought to justice at the end.

Very brave to share. I think part of the obsession of pizzagate for a good part of us is exactly these sort of memories that sort of seem like dreams or, rather, nightmares.

Wow. Thanks for sharing. I am terrified for my little one as I look back throughout my life and how many times inappropriate things were done to me by family members, older schoolmates and some people in positions of authority. I wonder what the percentage of molestation really is if we were all honest about it.

& I think we've all been groomed sexually by the media to some extent. Hollywood has "molested" a lot of young minds through movies, cartoons, and ads.

Well said. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the active people on voat/pg are some of the severe victims of that - Hollywood, media, church, education. Social outcasts apparently without a cause.

Mainstream Hollywood movies and TV shows are hideous, but I'm not sure anything compares to the debauchery of rock/rap lyrics and videos. Lyrics go into your brain emotionally like a meme. They bypass your thought process and sink deep into a child's mind. Rappers should be thrown into shark infested waters.

I was also afraid for my two girls as they grew up. I never had true memory of the abuse my childhood best friend and I were subjected to by our Associate Pastor until I was in my late 20's. When I remembered, and I don't know what sparked them, the memories were as clear as a bell. I asked my friend about it (we had never spoken of it) and she confirmed it had happened but was not too concerned about the incidents. This occurred when we were both 10 or 11 years old. I still have a memory I can't recall. My parents allowed me to go with him to North Carolina to visit my grandparents while he visited someone else. I don't have any memory of the trip except I am sure it happened. When I told my mother about the abuse a few years later, when I was in my 30's, she didn't believe that it could have happened. My husband and I married when I was 28 and began having a family. We ended up having 2 girls. They are grown now but I worried so much about them going places, even with friends. Pedophilia, even in a Baptist church, has been around for a long time.

It is especially prevalent in close religious groups as the abuser is most likely protected. The act is too egregious to be believed and the victim will be called a liar. If there is definite proof the victim will be blamed for provoking or the abuser will be lightly "disciplined" internally without the involvement of law enforcement.

Thank you for sharing your story. I think molestation is a lot more common than people think. My brothers best friend was their soccer coach at school. I'm 5 years younger but I think he was in junior high. So my brother went and stayed the night at his friends house and when he was sleeping, the coach climbed in bed with my brother and molested him. My brother tried to commit suicide when he was 15. He was in a coma and not expected to survive. But now he speaks at churches all over giving testimony about our childhood and his overcoming so much.

Well the coach ended up later on going to prison for killing a woman. My brother was believed then! We always believed. It just makes me sick that so many perverts find jobs where they can be around children. It can just ruin lives. Then they look like great people because they are "good with kids" so then it's hard to convince people that the person is really bad. That's what all these charities do. They look like heros when all along their true agenda was hidden. Anyways, I hope nothing else happened to you and you're suppressing it.

Wow what stories. My heart goes out to all of the abused. It is sad that it took a murder in order for a child to be believed. People believe someone can kill but not abuse of a child. This country needs to open up. It is a creepy subject but the more we talk about it in a healthy way, the more people will stop closing their ears. It is a horrible subject that people do not want to face. Peace to You All.

I agree. The sad part is that a lot of people will falsely accuse people so they ruin it for the true victims. I had a friend in school that accused the teacher of molesting her because she didn't like the school she was going to and wanted to switch to mine. So the teacher was put on leave to be investigated and then she admitted she had lied. That's why it's so tough. You never know.

So sorry to hear about your young life. You are obviously a survivor and you are here trying to protect other children. I admire your strength and glad you are not giving up to carry on for children's justice.

I'm so sorry to hear about your story. These depraved sickos flock to positions where they can abuse children.

I truly believe this guy abused my little brother. He was very high up in the childhood education world and served as a court-appointed child advocate. He was convicted of some really sick stuff and still lives within 1000 feet of a school.

His face makes me want to vomit.

The CASA program really concerns me! There are a lot of wonderful, retired people who become CASA's, but it is a volunteer position that allows people from the community A LOT of private and direct contact with vulnerable children. CASAs are background checked and go through a long training program, and then they are assigned cases and spend hours with the children. They take kids in their private cars and can basically go wherever they want with them. It's ripe for abuses and problems like what you point out with your brother. I'm very sorry for you and him.

For various reasons, I have been forced to doubt CASA at every turn. We need to watch them.

When I was in college this was our sorority's charity. I thought it was a great organization until I realized all they do is just basically, help CPS but that they do not get paid.

You were placed into contact with child protective services, then you are most assuredly a victim.
