The problem with Frank Winstead as any sort of witness is that the guy already had a reputation in the local community of being an obsessive hall monitor sort of guy, obsessed with traffic safety law in particular and to the point that he would video tape people and upload the videos to shame people online for things like blocking side walks or for a bus polluting the air and so on. Initially he was only angry about the ping pong table being a traffic hazard, and what it at least looks like happened, was that when he was told to leave the ping pong table alone, he totally lost his shit.

Here is his YT channel so that you don't have to take my word for it: https://www.youtube.com/user/fwinstead/videos

It wasn't like he addressed any inappropriate artwork, language, etc or suspicious internal activity going on at CPP. Not even close to being an actual investigation, like not even close to all of the stuff that you all have dug up with this current civilian investigation.

There may have been some ironic truth to what he was saying at the time, but it would seem to be coincidence. The guy was not exactly the best witness. Personally I wouldn't use his words to make a case for suspicion about CPP. As soon as people look at the guy's YT channel it's like oh.. it was one of those people.

Doesn't mean his accusations were totally off the mark, either, but it does seem like it was more coincidence than due to his own investigative work. Nothing like what civilian investigators have actually been digging up now.

It might be interesting to interview him and to find out what exactly made him suspect rape and murder? I saw one YouTube which purported to have caught a screaming coming from the place, blanketed by the traffic noise?

He did not suspect rape and murder. He said another neighborhood, Adams-Morgan, has a nightlife scene and a higher crime rate. He was using the example of crime in Adams-Morgan to try to shut down what Comet Ping Pong was asking for. Are we going to turn our neighborhood in Adams-Morgan? or Times Square?

Yeah, but he figured it out, didn't he? It's the outliers who figure it out.

Couldn't hurt to contact him for a comment on recent events. I'd be curious to hear his take, followed-up with a question about his comments from 2008.

That's yet another weird coincidence. It's just like Breitbart, according to some, only Tweeting about ACORN. Yet despite the O'Keefe thing being a one-off undercover investigation, Andrew described Podesta as running a "world class...op" for "unspeakable dregs". That seems to go far, far beyond merely talking about one incident involving one employee. I'm not saying either person was, for sure, making the larger allegation. My ESP needs work. But it sure is curious.

I did archive it, and will link the archive next time. Sorry about that...still working on getting posting down correctly. I'll try to edit the original with the archive instead.

That's where the video came from of the guy filming when the screams were heard.

Doesn't seem right, that a ping pong table outside would lead to rape and murder. It's a far stretch, maybe he knew what was going on there could be more to the this guy going after him. If he committed suicide right after the meeting you know something is up.

They label everyone who stands in their way as crazy in order to discredit them.

Yes, he is using an emotionally charged, but in my opinion, dishonest argument to try to shut down something he doesn't want. He has zero evidence for his charges.

Unless he knew illegal activity is happening but afraid to say out of fear. Just seems like strange accusations he has to know something else

What are the chances of "comet ping pong + rape + murder" appearing in 2 different slanderous untruths? 8 years apart? Either we are the victims of a vast right wing conspiracy, or comet ping pong is a little bit more "rape-y & murder-y" then the average D.C. Eatery....

Because of Winstead making a comparison; he was exaggerating. He never outright accused Alefantis of rape and murder.
