I'd upvoat, if I had any upvoats 😤

damn shame the admins can't see what accounts the downvoats are coming from and IP ban them or something.

If that's true then this site is a joke since a single shill can, with his 100 accounts, massively upvote pointless or misleading threads and downvote interesting ones, so he basically decides what most users will or will not see, and there's nothing admins can do about it. It's not like it can stop us to investigate anything and post about it either, but that's still pretty lame.

It wont work. Unless they are using a unique setup, fingerprinting the browser likely wont work. You have to do a pretty heavy stalker style browser fingerprinting to target a specific person that in some cases borders on or is illegal. Cookies and IP addresses and browser fingerprinting are easy to fool if one has the motivation. A script to used to register accounts while you have several that upvoat random comments is what you want to look for as an admin. The servers have to have databases that track what a specific account upvoats so the same account doesnt upvoat one post numerous times.

Tracking it is a pain in the ass from an admin perspective and uses resources to check for bots/brigading etc...

My question is why doesnt a group of people get together and make accounts to upvoat out of commenting territory?

Edit: accidentally a word My question is why doesnt a group of people get together and make accounts to upvoat out of non commenting territory?

further explained: If shills are taking you to pound town with the down voats, just use the same tactics with the up voats? Just like slide and ant-slide on anon boards.

To easy to get around.

It's easy to spot as you often had exactly the same amount of downvoats for each post so it's like 26 accounts going trough your history downvoating evertying. It's pretty lame system if you can do something like that to others.

Who can we complain to about the lame system? Or is the system here too lame to be salvagable?
