I agree with the sentiment and the idea but not the language used i section 4. We are a big serious community which is bringing in al sorts of people and this sticky post will be read first. I would hate to think people would read section 4 and be put off contributing. Just my two cents and good luck with this initiative

And what's to say the shills aren't going to start doing what they're suggestion to valid users? Also I've seen some pretty not-so-friendly comments calling someone a shill, essentially harassing the posters/commenters in question.... so this section I could see being easily abused.

Totally agree. It's far easier to call someone a shill (been done to me already) because you don't understand something or misinterpret it than it is to engage critical thought. Let's face it - some people aren't capable of critical thought. The broader the PG conversation gets, the more notoriety Voat receives, the more people are going to show up here and the more noise this will bring. But it's a necessary evil in getting the word out.

Dumb to have a problem with, disagree.

What is wrong with #4? Is it because he said "faggot"? We say "faggot" a lot on Voat. If someone is going to decide to let things offend them this might not be the place for them.

It's more about appearing professional and credible. It's not so much about it being used, but it's being used in an official admin announcement, so it just seems needless. As far as Voat, yeah, I'm sure you guys do whatever you want, but this sub is for a serious investigation and throwing around slurs makes it look less serious.

It's not about the use of faggot, it's that it's an open call to attack anyone you don't agree with as a "shill." There are a lot more people who just want deeper proof than there are shadow government agents or whatever running around, and the number of random shill accusations already turns people off.

No one is attacking your right to call people faggots, you taint sucking homoqueer.

It's not about the language, for me at least. It's the possibility of abuse. What's to keep a shill from reporting someone? What's to keep someone who doesn't agree with skepticism or who aggressively doesn't agree with another commenter from reporting them? Who watches the watchmen?

The comments are a free for all and I don't care about the cut and thrust of a forum like this. Actually I like it. My point is the GOAL is imperative: exposing paedo elite rings.

If a first timer came to this forum, the sticky is in reality, the "public face" and advertisement for the forum and our goals. It should be professional, respectful, mature and inclusive.

People won't judge the forum by the odd comment, shill or arguement. But they will by the "official" sticky.

My only point was to alter the language a bit. If the same point can be made equally well, without language some might find crass, why not.

Can you get rid of "call to arms".

That's the most unproductive bullshit I have ever seen here. Do you want them to easily discredit us?

Rather than whining and complaining here in the comments section, how bout we get to work doing the things the MOD asked.

Who cares is you don't like his language? Time to melt some snowflakes and pull on your big-boy britches. Get to work!

You sir. Welcome to Voat. The rest of these cry-bully faggots really just don't belong, but you... you're one of us.

I noticed this: http://pizzagate.wikia.com/wiki/

May be a good place to organize info?

Thanks. oldfag new to #pg. Can help with organizing the wiki, but new to wikia, so I'll do some learning and check back later.

Started this: http://pizzagate.wikia.com/d/p/2896447404276730451

Edit: Also checking the other sidebar sites. I'm liking wikia because it will be the most "friendly" to casual users.

4) WE NEED YOUR HELP to call out these shills. Comment where you find their bullshit and call it out, or find a shill you hate and follow that fucker around and 1000-years-of-pain that faggot.

This will not end well, it will be like the snake eating the tail.

I kinda doubt it, but I should put that the upvoted shill usernames could be reported to /v/reportctr.

Use proper quote formatting please. You just need to use the greater than sign to make it look like this.

blah blah blah...

It would be great if those doing the investigating could have a sticky filled with any given day's new links so that they could have all of that at their fingertips. I have difficulty finding anything in America via google because it thinks I need to have the NZ version which doesn't show me everything. Hence why most of what I post or share is NZ/AU centric. And with that in mind, I find myself feeling uncertain as to whether any of what I do or could share would even be helpful to the investigation.

That's a fantastic plan. Hoping that more than one individual steps up to help with this endeavor.

How many posts can be stickied? I ask, because it would be nice to have a thread for misc. questions. I tried searching for a coded discussion in the Wikileaks emails, but I couldn't find it. It would be nice to be able to ask without cluttering the main page.

Please change the title? I know you don't mean it literally, but call to arms is open to misinterpretation, which undermines this genuine cause.

In a way I was already updating and organizing part of the Pizzagate investigation by updating a list of censorship in this thread https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1470084 I you believe this is usefull I want to continue doing this but would like some suggestions on what to actually cover in this list.

I made the distinction between Pizzagate related censorship and pre-Pizzagate pedo censorship. A comment suggested to only keep this list Pizza related and I agree, because what is happening now is more important to archive than focus on historical cases. Therefore I was contemplating on creating a new thread with a more decriptive title: "Banned News, Articles, Sites, People & Death Threats - Updated list with examples of censorship regarding Pizzagate (PLEASE SUBMIT)"

Also I'm noticing forms of censorship that seem more a result from the genreal battle on Fake News than Pizzagate specific from which I am not sure if this list should keep track of these occurances as well. For example youtubers that have videos banned which are not directly Pizzagate related, but they have talked about Pizzagate in other videos. For example (AMTV's amazon go video banned & RichieFromBoston live stream banned) So the question is, is the banning of users that have talked about pizzagate as relevant as actual clear examples of banned Pizzagate information?

Another thing I notice are Reddit members being banned and sites like 8chan being attacked. Should this be covered in this list?
