Berenstain....is that about the Barenstein Bears? The anomaly is that everyone who grew up with the Barenstein Bears specifically remember the way the Bear's last name was spelled. Many learned to read with those books, or watched the shows over and over again, some even had lunchboxes and other stuff with the Bear's name on it. Well....if you go look now, there never was such thing as "The Barenstein Bears", its has always been " The Berenstain Bears", there is no record of them every having been called Barenstein, and for those who knew them as such....it is quite confusing. Some say they must have changed the name....but nope, the record reflects its always been "Barenstain". Some have gone to look at the books that not long ago they used to teach their children to read....the books in their very homes, only to see the books have changed and now say Berenstain instead of Barenstein. Many other such anomalies have been reported, such as the famous star wars line "Luke, I am your father", now says "No, I am your father". Many hard core Star Wars fans were mystified and darth vader impersonaters were surprised, that they'd memorized the line incorrectly and been using it that way for so long. There's old video around of impersonator competitions and everyone says "Luke, I am your father". Another anomaly was in the Costner movie "Field of Dreams".....when many remember the voice throughout the movie saying "build it and they will come", talking about all the baseball players that would come to the field.....well not anymore, it now says "Build it and he will come"...not sure which specific baseball player the voice is talking about....but those are just a few examples of what I thought was the Berenstain thing.

I'm also about 85% certain that it actually was berenstein too. it was absolutely mystifying watching the cartoon, looking at it, and seeing that it had altered.

there is definitely something real about these experiences, especially if star wars darth vader now say "no, I am your father"

unless that's just an edit they did on the dvd recut or blu ray or something, "luke, I am your father, join me and rule the galaxy as father and son" or something like that.

something crazy is happening. its either parallel universes or reality is collapsing or something. maybe both.

and field of dreams also said that.

if people are saying these are mandela effect, they are just in a trance and do not realize or remember shit. real life events are altering. if all three of the things you said are true. maybe only some people are aware of it because they are an anomaly somehow. maybe things had to impact you a very specific way, or perhaps there are parallel universes our consciousness have the ability to switch between in different potential realities or something.

"Build it and he will come" doesn't even make sense for Field of Dreams... WTF? How can that have shifted? Something screwy is going on. All of these things have changed. I'm starting to think this isn't just memory.

Maybe gaslighting really did take over the world and there's a conspiracy to brainwash people by making them doubt their judgement and substitute someone else's.

@zhulu has a point: online discussions about any controversial topic really has a tendency to be quickly shut down. This is the way it's always been. Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, all the same negative reaction towards topics which those social networking companies deem "controversial" (read: negative to their profits or inhibiting the company from expanding to for example EU markets), and so they act to shut those conversations down and scrub them from their websites.

Users need to be more proactive and adaptive here - making sure they're able to quickly pick up and move collaborative efforts elsewhere without even missing a beat.
