We need to highlight the names of these brave souls, and show these people attacking the messengers, that they are only showing themselves up more. Monica and Andrew both left us direct messages about these things. They risked their life, because it was that important that it be known. It is known now, and their souls live forever, I believe, in being part of such an important cause.

Sticky? Memes for paid commentors. Paid Trolls has not been on Drudge,Infowars or Brietbart lately. Fake News not having a comment section either on same Meme would be a double tap to the Serial liars on TV

Bingo. If you've spent anytime on /pol you'll be used to these tactics. The idea is to make the conversation toxic, to discourage you from contributing. Yesterday I noticed one of my posts was replied to by a 38 minute old account telling me I shouldn't post here. They couldn't be more transparent.

If anyone is disrespectful to you they are a shill 100% of the time. No exceptions. If you don't realize that there are thousands of people who are PAID to post on message board then it might surprise you when you encounter them. The shills are intelligent and know how to lead conversation away by muddying the waters, by concern trolling, by posting false leads. The problem for them is that the truth is so straight forward that if you focus on just the facts they can't distract you.

If you want to investigate pedophiles that are politically connected you better believe there will be blowback. Sorry you have to deal with negativity but those are the breaks.

Not agreeing is one thing--- but saying something is "false" with no basis whatsoever is another thing entirely. I want people to prove me wrong, but not with the absence of facts. That is what is happening now. People aren't even bothering to watch or read for themselves before coming at people with the flaming torches. It's sad. And it isn't only me

As a truthseeker I am wondering why you are that light skinned. Stick to the facts and tell us about it. Forget the shills AND idiots.

there are multiple Issues at hand. We are getting flooded by people interested in the topic for whatever reason. Its not only honest interest, its also curiosity or just boredom. Also our society is on a spectrum of intelligence and education, there are not-educated people honestly caring about children as well as there are well educated trolls.

People are emotionally invested, I just mediated some cases of this yesterday, and people feel paranoid of other people being just here to deceive and disrupt. The chans have this issue for years now, as they are on of the last open boards on the internet that are basically unmoderated free speech. The accumulation of nonsense AND extremist opinion is palpable, but you will never know how much of that is just distraction by companies like Correct the Record. [And there are Intelligence services, whose whole reason of existance is us]https://theintercept.com/2014/02/24/jtrig-manipulation/)

I agree, having secretive communication aswell is important, but dont abort the open channels because of the climate. It is the easiest method of the powers that be to make us uncomfortable here, it is the virtual version of agents provocateurs

Blame the shills and trolls

We should keep our own idiots on a shorter leash, because sometimes they do more damage than the shills, who seem to be some highschool dropouts, collected for the job through an ad on CL.

Voat isn't a safe space, it's a free-speech space. Practice proper opsec so you don't get doxed, and ignore people who scream useless obscenities, or otherwise try to get under your skin. Focus on constructive conversation instead. Pseudonymity is what continues to allow conversation to take place. Centralizing with "trusted" people is dangerous.

Edit: Also, watch out for people using the word "dangerous" in general, come to think of it. There is nothing dangerous about thinking and investigating. After all, don't police like to say "if you've got nothing to hide..."?

Deny Disrupt Degrade Deceive, Destroy, Protect - That is the Motto of JTRIG https://theintercept.com/2014/02/24/jtrig-manipulation/

If you dig the rabbithole of PSYOP long enough, you will read books of 1968 activists and their story how their group got infiltrated and destroyed, released 1944 military material on how to support the résistance and unhappy citizens in the Nazi Regime, and how to most efficiently sabotage.

The methods are surprisingly easy. provoke emotional reactions, reduce efficiency of the action to sabotage by sheer volume, by distraction, by releasing misinformation or by corrupting sources of information. As you said be suspicious of people declaring things. Be suspicious of people that want to stick to the manual at all costs. Be suspicious of people that say we have to stop for what reason ever. the stop is one of the hugest red flags. You cant identify them by age of account, they are better than that.

The best method to block their efforts I yet found is forcing constructive dialogue at all costs, and keeping your emotions under control. Ignore insults, and provocative language and statements, be constructive and promote open dialogue. They can only spread misinformation in a climate of this. And we are enough people to dismantle red herrings.

sorry if I abuse your post to promote that, but it is important to inform as many people as possible to not be gullible about their interactions.

"I have been an activist for over 15 years, and i have been researching wikileaks since before they were cool." You must know better than all of us what it is like to be ridiculed for having a different opinion on something.. so why does this bother you now? Surely you can see more than ever the weight this PizzaGate movement is gaining? The trolls are such a minority. I'm confused..

I hope you stick with us and help get to the bottom of this mess!

some are not going about this with an investigative, non-biased ethic - for example, they are seeing pictures of a walk-in cooler with the accompanying comment "killroom" and concluding that this is where children are killed and the stains are blood stains, etc., when in fact there is nothing odd about the cooler itself

that's just one example - there are many more

and if, as a researcher, you point out this flawed and dangerous "logic", you may get dumped on

there is plenty of quality evidence over many decades to sew-up organized pedo rings, the latest of which is PizzaGate, but we need not be jumping to conclusions and manufacturing evidence which has no basis in reality

[–] starseedlover 0 points 6 points (+6|-0) ago

Yeah due to the nature of the topic, people get triggered like crazy and their emotions make them rage and jump to conclusions. They go into PedoPanic and call for a lynch mob.

When you're not getting triggered by the horrifying truth of PizzaGate, you're getting triggered by people calling you Fake News which brings up the fight and rage and you lose your cool. It starts flame wars and arguments and the diligent research gets thrown off track.

This stuff is triggering, but after awhile, you get desensitized and can approach your research with a more level head.

TL;DR you like saying "triggered".

Do you believe in the patriarchy? What about microaggressions? Is "mansplaining" a thing?

[–] Gorillion 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

The owner or one of his buddies labelled it the "killroom". I see it as a form of trolling towards the Pizza players to keep throwing it in their faces, so they can't pretend like they're some wholesome collective of butter-wouldn't-melt-in-their-mouths good guys. It undercuts their narrative of being a bunch of family friendly and harmless "community uncles".

It may be a cheap shot, but fuck 'em.

I wouldn't put much weight on it as evidence of wrong-doing, but it's fine for the occasional bitch-slapping.

[–] xeemee 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

... but it's fine for the occasional bitch-slapping.

i can sympathize with that, but you must understand that it also undercuts the credibility of the research in general when people insinuate, without any evidence, that a walk-in cooler is a "kill room" where children are being slaughtered and there's blood stains on the floor

[–] YingYangMom 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

There's nothing odd about the picture of a cooler, nor one "killroom" comment in themselves, but when they are combined, the context changes dramatically and becomes extremely odd. If you can't connect two dots together, then I wonder how you can help this investigation.

Xeemee is quite the investigator, if you ask me, and knows how to separate the legit from the wild speculation.

Instead of just "wondering" how he can help, perhaps take a gander at his user profile.
