Yes, it is. Look at the modlog for this subverse, there are so many removed submissions that you have to go through PAGES of removed posts just to get to YESTERDAY. Most of which were legitimately on target or tangentially related at least. You do not understand just how abhorrent that is for us. We left reddit because we strongly disagree with a small set of power users having control of what content is allowed to rise in a community.....and that is also why YOU left reddit, believe it or not.

We don't like how the exact system that effectively drove you away from the previous platform is being administered and encouraged here.

I just checked again and I have to admit, seeing this thread removed leaves a bitter taste: https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1451593

Yes, I'm glad you found that one. It deserves to be examined, explored, and yet it wasn't....because heavy handed moderation is happening here and some of us are rightfully upset at it. Look,I'm not saying 100 percent or even 50 percent or even 3 percent of legitimate posts are removed. It's just terrifying to the rest of the user base here that a couple of people are able to control the narrative on one of our most active communities. It's antithetical to everything we stand for.

When it comes to CP, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD REMOVE IT, but just about anything else being taken out raises our hackles and makes the rest of us kinda upset.

I did look it up a few hours ago when someone else said there is censorship but I couldn't find anything which was actually tied to pizzagate and not discussed elsewhere or proven to be wrong/misinformation.

I also had a thread deleted with information from the mod why and where it had been discussed already (my search didn't bring anything up prior to posting it)

Reposts aren't as awful here as they are on reddit. OBVIOUSLY some member of the community did not see some relevant information (you, specifically you) on here and couldn't find it by searching (duckduckgo is a search engine that works with voat BTW, don't even try google for anything on this site if you actually want to find it), it was relevant information and it might have deserved to be revisited with fresh eyes who didn't see it the first time around who also theoretically might be able to expound upon that information.

Should the same link be posted 40 times a day? No, but the community doesn't need moderation to know that's silly. You're not children, and you're not stupid, don't upvoat those posts and downvoat if it's actually not related.
