Yes, we do! Although, happens other places as well. When I lived in Denver helped a friend tarp his roof after a storm. Hail stones went all the way through the roof decking and through the ceiling drywall below. House was really shredded up. Stones were about softball sized. Late 80's early 90's I think.
it came out of fucking nowhere. i move furniture, and i was at the store shooting the shit with the manager when one of my coworkers calls the store saying he's having a hard time moving a couch because of the weather. my manager and i looked outside, saw that it was barely drizzling, looked at each other and rolled our eyes. the minute the phone was hung up, BOOM thunderclap and huge stones starting hitting the windows.
I just saw a segment on the Weather channel where the hail was hitting and breaking windows. I would be absolutely terrified if that shit was falling within even 50 miles of me.
