Of course it's higher. Now, why is S. America, Africa and Middle East not examined? America has a highly diverse population. If you break down gun violence by ethnicity, I think the results would be shocking. Maybe it's not the guns that are the problem. Maybe it the guns in certain populations possession, that is the problem.
