You know. . . . The timing of this all is highly suspect.

It's like both China and the USA are engaged in a shadow war.

The trade war has got to be hurting the pocket books of people on both sides, and both sides are pretty powerful.

I posit it's possible the shootings are influenced by Chinese operatives as a response to the US covertly inflaming the Hong Kong dissent.

The protests in Hong Kong were in response to legislation introduced by the Hong Kong government and pushed for by Beijing, the US may be fanning the flames but it was China that lit their own yard on fire.

As for the US, again China might fan the flames but they didn't create all the social problems in this country that got us to the state we are in.

Yea, but the US has a storied history of influencing populations into riots and attempted overthrows to buck the system.

All of this is too coincidental. All in the midst of the highest peaks of the current trade war, which has been relatively quiet. You've got to imagine that when it comes to this much money at stake, with the 2 largest economies, there's going to be a lot of shit going on behind the scenes.
