Youve never been to a big city much have you? The edge of the pavement on my road gets more garbage thrown out than that per week and I live in the middle of no where.

This is well past the beginning of decay. The summer of 1977 was legendarily bad. City wide blackouts, a major heatwave and the Son of Sam roaming around.
Likewise, as fires burned down much of the Bronx, hip hop began to rise from the ashes. In fact, the looting of music stores during the blackout enabled people who couldn’t afford turntables and mixers to gather the equipment they needed to become DJs.
Ha! These looters should have been shot on site. They maybe missed their opportunity to delay the inevitable viral culture decay epidemic caused by nigger music and the subsequent exploitation of it by jews, for another couple decades.
An egg cream is named inappropriately, but it is basically milk, ice cream, chocolate syrup and seltzer water. I had one last week for the first time in years. Good stuff. You rarely get them outside of NYC.

One can even see it in the movies filmed in NYC during the 1970s.
The place was a shithole.

The 2018 version is fucking depressing. Pretty much everything you hate to see in one picture.
[–] Goathole ago

Less trash on the streets. I wonder what dave's improved egg cream tasted like. I'm guessing it's custard.

Are the old places like that still preserved in NYC? Or is it all revamped digital dreck?
