Ah, but can you see Russia from Pluto?

Joking aside, that's fascinating stuff. Really gives you a sense of how small Pluto is. You'd almost think it isn't big enough to hold together under its own gravity.

Russia actually has more surface area than Pluto. Kinda insane.

Surface area of Pluto: 6,427,806 mi2

Surface area of Russia: 6,601,668 mi2

This made me curios so I looked up the surface area of the moon which is 14,600,00 mi2 (slightly less than Asia). So Pluto is really quite tiny.
