Thank you! So Monday, around 1pm a camper blew a tire on 299 and ended up throwing sparks, igniting the whole thing. Was just an accident.
We don't have AC! Only a swamp cooler... We saw the smoke move out lastnight so we had our fans on and this morning, smoke is back with ash covering our cars... Mind you, I am on the eastern side of the valley...
Oh yea, we had some decent winters recently. I took a drive to Eureka monday before the fire started and as I drove past Whiskeytown lake I'm thinking, holy shit this place is a tinder box... Proved me right.
Hopefully our boys get some control on this fire cuz as of now, they are not winning the battle.

Wow. Must be simply an abundance of fuel from a couple decent rainy seasons. I think the smoke is down here in Yolo now.
