I'm pretty sure Cary Grant was 13 in 1917. I do agree however with the pic

Yes but Americans have been enslaved by the Jewish federal reserve since 1913.

You know what pisses me off almost as much as men in short shorts and women's dress shoes? Complete disregard for history and facts. "Found an old pic, must be from a hundred years ago, right? Who cares, it was before I was born, lolz!"
Here's an man from actual 1917
Better than today by a long shot, but still a little faggy, right?

This looks like what people in the 1960s thought people in the 1920s looked like.

Not faggy, a typical man like that would be carrying a 1903 Colt pocket hammerless pistol in his vest pocket. Men dressed to the nines and were lethal back then. The whole concept of James Bond is based on old timey dapper men packing pistols.

Not faggy then, but if I saw a guy in spats and a straw hat today, I'd think he's gay. You could still pull off Cary Grant's look, though.

My husband will still dress like that, thankfully. Of course when he isn't dressed up he wears terrible white tube socks pulled up to his knees, shorts, and Hawaiian shirts. It's a work in progress.

I still have double breasted suits, a long over coat and my hat. It’s just to warm all year to dress up that far.

So, I tend towards more of a hipster look with jacket, scarf and hat.

Yep, I just ordered another hat like in the pic too! :-)

Get back to the days when a man could work, have evenings and weekends with his family, be able to afford to buy a house and car and put his kids through college -- all by working only one job.

Women should return to being wives, mothers and taking care of the home.

Women should return to being wives, mothers and taking care of the home.

This will certainly help, but it was adopting the Federal Reserve in 1913 that destroyed our economy.

Yes. Implied in both your post and mine are a host of systemic problems that must be corrected (done away with) or we will never have a society in which we will actually want to live, one where our children will actually want to grow up in.

Ah, yes, a universal bank. The ultimate panacea to all America's ailing woes. Let's give humankind the ability to debase currency and get a big fat knob to control interest rates (what an original concept that's never been tried before!). How fucking stupid and arrogant and conceited we are to think we could "dial-in" a massive complex economic system. No wonder the century of universal banking was the century of the most devastating and destructive wars. Made way for the whole guns and butter bullshit as well amongst so many other lesser but equally idiotic ideas.

you won't have a good car or a good house or any kind of internet/cell phone or decent medical care.

Where did you get that information? People bought the new cars that were available at the time. Same with houses and other household appliances. Medical care has improved but why you assume people would buy substandard care just because the society is run properly, by men who know that the family unit is the number one priority of any nation that is not in decline.

Step #1 is to get rid of the leaches on society, both immigrants and politicians. Then we can rebuild our nations on a solid foundation.

Any day now the 40 years of trickle down is going to start working. All we need is a few more tax cuts for the uber-rich.

It has been 40 years of penalizing success more and more.

Penalizing success as a society will get us to Communism and "we are all equal comrade"' how fast?

I know humans instinctually are jealous but take that shit some where else. All taxation is theft. The government mandated force behind it, makes the situation a form of slavery. Ron Paul 101.

The funny thing is, if you actually wanted to be shocking and edgy nowadays, you'd dress like it was 1917 or 1940.

First, that is definitely not Cary Grant in 1917 (he was born 1904). However, if you want to show him as a younger man, you'll probably want to include his lover and "roommate" of 12 years, Randolph Scott.

That's the funny thing....Cary Grant was apparently gay (actually more likely bisexual, if you look into his history), and he was still more man than that damn thing on the right.
