Who says she's the one turning 100? She could be 55 and looks like 100 from smoking. That could be anyone's cake.

If you resolve to give up smoking, drinking and loving, you don't actually live longer; it just seems longer.

I knew an old man who was a heavy drinker all his life. He died when he was 94 years old. After he died I heard an old holier-than-thy woman say, "The alcohol finally killed him." I was like WTF!!!

Largely genetic.

Hormesis. Low doses of toxins/stress stimulate detox/repair epigenetics. Exercise is technically toxic for example, producues a lot of reactice oxygen species, but stimulates an overcompensation in repair mechanisms. It's why fruit and vegetables are good for you, they are loaded with natural pesticides, fungicides and toxic UV protectants. The keyword is LOW doses. Everything in moderation.

You'll find a lot of super centarians smoke and drink but only 1 a day. They exercise but not very hard.

She may be alive, but she still looks twice her age.

You'll change your mind when you're 59.
