Use caution -- that some (beneficial/fermentation) organisms survived, could imply that some not-so-beneficial organisms also survived. Bear in mind, food poisoning occurs more with produce than many other foods (dairy, meat, etc). Estimates show 1/3rd of all food poisoning in the US comes from produce.
