Oh my goodness, as someone who's not confident enough to get into photography but still constantly amazed by it, those are night and day differences between those two pictures. That's incredible.

I know! I was absolutely shocked at how much better it looked! I guess I didn't realize how much my understanding of post processing had grown and changed over the course of one year. It's a good feeling to see how far I've come.

That's the glory of good editing right there. A lot of people think that if a photo is too blurry, that that is it and the photo is worthless. Really though the camera captures a LOT of information even when it looks like it didn't. Like how in the first pic you can't really see much of the ground between you and the sun, but the camera did definitely capture it because you can see it in the edit.
