Comes with Meltdown and Spectre for free and he will need all that hardware to reach the performance level of an i5 due to the slowdown that is going to occur.

speak for yourself faggot, I could afford it. I would never buy that shit though. It makes sense for him to get something like that considering he makes his living off the PC. I have way more than 10k invested in my work stuff.

Your statement makes no sense since an i5 would experience a slowdown as well, making this rig still exceed in performance as it would without Meltdown and Spectre.

It was a joke. People gotta lighten up on here.

Is that Motherboard really the best bang for the buck?

Doubtful he paid for any of it. Probably all given for free in exchange for the publicity of it. Lists of what he is using can cause others to buy the same stuff

The article explicitly says it was provided to him by a sponsor.

Even if he did, he's using it for business purposes so he'll make it back anyway.

It's the best bang, just not for the buck.

Where did this info come from? I only ask because OP only links to his blog. AFAIK, he just pulled this out of his ass like the rest of the non-existing builds he posts.

Pewdiepie did not mentioned about HDD so we can wonder that he would have atleast 5-10Tb HDD in his monster.

If he's an idiot, sure. Who the hell puts HDDs in their PC when you have such a budget? You'd just get a NAS.

I've never heard or seen a PC that booted off a NAS. This might be past my work experience. The last I worked with a NAS we were using it as a backup for the location I was in charge of at the time. We didn't use it for remote terminals or booting off of so I am unfamiliar with this feature.

I would have the SSD that directly connect to the Mobo, not SATA, I just can't think of the name of the slot of the top of my head, having a brain fart here.

That's what the NVMe drive is for. He has an NVMe with 500GB and an SSD with 4TB. Plenty of storage for daily use and anything else like videos or backups can go on a NAS.

I'm guessing he boots from the M2 NVME2 drive (3Gbs) and uses the SSD for some storage. There's no spinny disk in that box.
