I always wanted to play on the PC; however, my father didn't like the idea of me playing on the PC he saw it as a machine for learning rather than wasting time so he installed Linux on it and got me a 360 instead. After a little while I heard about Crysis and bioshock. Saw the gameplay and I knew I wanted a gaming PC. First purchases were CS1.5, Gmod, and TF2. At the time I had a computer with a duo core 2.6 ghz with 512mb of vram, it ran the first games just fine. I always make sure those games are installed first.

I don't mind that my dad got me a 360 and made me learn Linux. I now know how to use Linux like second nature and got a year and a half left till I get my Computer Science degree, thanks dad.

No not really. I had a duel boot machine to do homework on so there was no hinder on my understanding of Windows. I prefer to use Linux though.
