Well, technically, Law is still a Warlord, so Fujitora could still, as an Admiral, order him to use his medical skill to keep Doflamingo from dying. That would allow Doflamingo to be taken alive to Impel Down, completing his fall from Heaven, and landing in Hell.

Eh, it's just a personal theory, due to the fact that, if Doflamingo loses his powers in his current state, he will very likely die before he can be brought to a Marine doctor skilled enough to save his life. This way, Doffy can complete his fall from Heaven (his position as a Celestial Dragon Warlord / the palace on Dressrosa) to Hell (his position as a random prisoner in level 6 of Impel Down), and the series can keep going without killing off any villains (except Z from the post-timeskip film).

Would Law really save Doffy though? He really wants him dead for his revenge.
Can't wait for next week.
