Back when kids werent pussies. In the summer we drank from the garden hose, played real Jarts( not that bullshit they sell now), we had dirtclod fights instead of snowball fights and you rode your bike miles from home and didnt come in til dinner or dark.
So what was the proper way to sit/stand on one of those? The design of the bars never made any sense to me. Couldn't sit under them, couldn't sit on them. You kind of stood off to the side until you couldn't hold on anymore and got launched.
I remember once holding on and flying like superman when I was tiny. Flew off and bounced because I was so small. Hurt enough that I barely have any memory of it.
I was dared to lay under one in kindergarten. While it was moving I rolled under and then when I was rolling back out I must've lifted my head up and got rocked hard. Had to get stitches. It didn't really hurt that much and I remember laughing because the other kids were so freaked out from all the blood. Not the last time I'd have stitches in my head and people freaking out from all the blood running down my face.

I must have had one lucky childhood, I don't remember anyone ever so much as throwing up on those let alone getting injured. Trampolines however...

Yea...great way to grow up. It was awesome. Trick or Treating, we went out for hours, filled many pillow cases . . .
