The problem with /v/science is that it's not moderated to keep out the pseudoscience, advertising, and POV pushing. Since the recent events that led to the departure of the moderation team I've noticed several cases of pseudoscience making the "Hot" page, or sitting on the "New" pages for some time, with the result that I don't find it possible to treat /v/science seriously any more.
The top 10 posts in /v/science right now are links. That's something I want to avoid. There's no real discussion about hypothesis from what I saw. I'd like to see some real brainstorming taking place where no thought it too crazy or stupid. The free flowing of ideas for the betterment of everyone.

I have a wild suggestion. Why not talk about science in v/science.

Why not just make a post? What's with all the drama?
