So did the cops arrest the wrong guy, or is 4chan wrong?

False dichotomy fallacy. The cops could have the right guy and someone else has access to his account.

That's remarkably implausible. The perpetrator had the wherewithal to ask a friend to tend to his account to give him an alibi in case it became relevant after his arrest? Or did he not ask, but a friend happened to know his password and took it upon themselves to knowingly create a fake alibi (also a crime).

Unless you can come up with something more plausible than what I originally proposed, it seems FAR more likely that the Internet got the wrong guy, and as a runner-up, that the cops arrested the wrong guy.

Edit: Anyway, I posted additional evidence that the driver wasn't the kid: https://imgoat.com/uploads/5771bce93e/37067.jpgJPG

Another false dichotomy. My accounts are always logged in and my wife could easily post on them... Plenty of people leave accounts logged in that a friend, girlfriend or wife could post on in their behalf.

it seems FAR more likely that the Internet got the wrong guy

I'm not eliminating this possibility but I'm also not eliminating him just because his Facebook seems active.

If someone has his FB login info, then it's absolutely plausible.

Why don't you up your own standard of proof?

[–] Tor1 2 points 9 points (+11|-2) ago

Just a thought.

But anyone who had his password could post on his account.

Or maybe they have his phone and it has the password saved in it.

You could DM your password just in case and I can keep posting about your innocence while you're in custody.

No charge.

I saw a picture through the windshield, I can't find it now but the guy was kinda chubby. That would fit this character.

edit: OP posted the windshield pic

Totally not the guy in OPs second pic. That dude looks stone cold, like some kind of spook.

So now that we have the right guy, what are his political views (please be leftist please be leftist...). I would hate to give the msm a free lunch here and have him turn out to be a white nationalist or something.

Possibly. I don't know where the screenshot is from. It's also possible that's a family member's car who he thought was going to give it to him when he turned 16...

Or maybe it is his car and someone else was driving it.

Or, in more than one report I read the car didn't have a licence plate on it so maybe someone just wanted to pull a prank on him.

Not to mention the kid looks nothing like the guy behind the wheel. The kid is... scrawny. The guy behind the wheel seems to be filled out. If I was planning to do something like this, I'd use a stolen car for sure.

I DuckDuckGo image searched Nishimura's name and... CP pretty much comes up. What is the deal with 4chan and that stuff? Is it sabotage by others, or is there a goddamn subsection of 4chan'ers that are that depraved?

The dude in the car picture looks like an Ohio nat'l guardsman named James G. Fields, but the person being charged is a (former) Ohio national Guardsman named James Alex Field Jr.

Saw it in a /pol/ thread, but there's another dude in Ohio national guard who has the same name and looks EXACTLY like the driver.

Who actually found this guy?

[–] SuperConductiveRabbi [S] 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

So it was a Trump supporter. Only thing left now is to see if it was somehow a reaction to the crowd attacking him in a way that justified using deadly force, but that doesn't seem very likely.
