Trump may win by a landslide. There are many, many Trump supporters who will not voice their support publicly.

It largely depends on if he's running against Hillary or Bernie. If Hillary wins it may be a landslide since no one respects her. Against Bernie it would be close and I bet there would be a lot of cross party votes toward both candidates since they are both so atypical.

You're not taking into account debate performance. Regardless of what you think of Comrade Sanders' policies, it's undeniable that he has all the charisma of a dead fish. Trump would wipe the floor with him.

I think you overestimate Sanders' chances: His most vehement support is all young voters and "dude weed lmao" people. These people are very unreliable voters.

Aside from that, you're underestimating the backlash that someone that willingly calls himself any form of socialist will get from the average American.

In Britain they're known as Shy Tories. They don't talk politics, they lie to pollsters, and they sure as hell vote.

This is just fucking sad. No one should be afraid to speak their opinion. Leftists always want to censor speech they do not agree with.

It's not that I'm afraid to talk about it. It's just not an emotionally based argument I present and that gets nowhere fast in college.

Same here. I attend community college in the downtown of my city. There are a lot of minorities and leftists. You know, the kind that supposedly promote peace and equality, but then get hostile and violent when it doesn't support their agenda.

That is why when we go to sleep on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, about half the country will toss and turn wondering how someone "Nobody said they would vote for" became the 45th President of the United States.

Get ready to go on suicide watch, Pussies...

"You know, comrades," says Stalin, "that I think in regard to this: I consider it completely unimportant who in the party will vote, or how; but what is extraordinarily important is this — who will count the votes, and how."

Exactly. All the voting machines are rigged. Trump won't win unless the establishment wants him to.

Universities foster this kind of culture but don't allow Trump to be chalked on a wall because it could be intimidating.

This is a very good point. Leftism has filled the "god hole" for a lot of atheists. There are people who show the same passion towards "tearing down the patriarchy" as 30 years ago they would have shown towards painting metal music as the devil's music.

The leftist campaign against free speech is clearly indicative of their desire to deny their opponents any platform for their views. And to think Trump supporters are called "cowards" when they only voice their opinions anonymously online... the consequences for any poor soul who thinks it's alright to publicly go against the political grain are all too real.

If they even think you are a Trump supporter violent threats and accusations of sexism, homophobia, etc., are not uncommon. It has happened to me a few times.

I recall my brother sharing the truth about his unfair treatment in the divorce court and of his wife: he lost 18 years of a large chuck of his income, most of assets, and his children to a 4 day per month "visitation schedule" (the babysitter saw his children more). To bot, he did nothing wrong and did not want a divorce.

SJWs called my brother every name in the book - bitter, woman-hater - because of his description of mistreatment

I avoid even talking about my political views with most people. I've had friends get angry when I told them I would likely vote trump.

And at work it feels like a taboo subject. I work in an office in Nyc.

I've gotten blocked by five people on FB. They literally ask, "You support Trump?" When I say yes they block me. Then I'll see through other friends "liking" their status that they ranted about blocking trump supporters. These people I've known in real life and in some cases have supported in some way (like letting them crash at my place until they got up in their feet, etc).. A bunch of cunts.

I can't wrap my head around people who are so proud of their intolerance for ideas. They all pat each other on the back for destroying friendships based on having different ideas about achieving the same fucking goals. All because the tv said Trump was evil based on things he never even said and they aren't willing to do research. It's insane how effectively people can be controlled if one can make them feel angry and righteous.

This new phenomenon of people "blocking" people as a form of expression and pride is about the gayest fucking thing ever to have happened on this planet.

Politics is one of those things that has become a topic you don't talk about around anyone now because the terrorists have made both sides look like pure evil to each other. There's no way to have a rational conversation because it's like people are being taught two different languages using the same vocabularies, but with different meanings for the words.

It's a sad day for America that people are being made to feel that they cannot express their views for fear of threats of violence and character assassination.

It hasn't become that way for the left. They can spew whatever ridiculous bullshit comes to mind without a second thought, and be celebrated and rewarded for it. Only conservatives have to self-censor and pick their battles. Then leftists still have the nerve to act like they're the underdogs, the victims, and the counter-culture in this country.

When I hear my college aged former students talk about supporting Sanders, I don't get angry. I try to educate them, since they don't take the time to actually learn anything...bunch of Kool-aid drinkers.

Getting angry because someone supports a candidate you don't like is childish.

It's not just Universities. I have to hide the fact that I am pro Trump at work. I mean, talking politics at work is a bad idea in general, but still, there a lot of brainwashed black people and some Muslims. I would become a pariah if I voiced my support.

Hitler is also a really common comparison made by people I know. People aren't going to want to have their idea challenged if they think Trump is "literally Hitler".
