Even here, if you have the car just for city driving you'll be fine unless you're doing some obscene commute

I don't think many US families would be on-board for having to buy at least two cars; an electric one for the city and a gas one for any road trips, family visits, camping, etc. Like everything it's a money issue. Convincing people to spend more money for a less convenient option is a fool's task

Don't most middle class families have multiple cars? Every house in my neighborhood has a car for each parent and at least one for the school aged child. Oh and the dad's always seem to have "project cars".

Fuck the Third World. Who gives a shit if they have electric cars or not?

Because one of the big marketing points of the electric car is it will help the environment. In the next 100 years three billion people are going to become online as car buyers and they will be buying are gas cars. So buying or pushing electric cars is a fucking waste of effort. Also if you think 3 billion new gas cars stressing the environment is bad wait until Africa starts buying air conditioning there is no way in hell the world is going to tell Africa they can't have A/C. Basically all those leftist greens are so far up there ass they have no idea what is going on.
