The undertaking of electric grid is so much less compared to the current gas station sprawl.

Well now I know you do not have an idea about what you are talking about. How come you can get petrol in remote Vietnam but the power is spotty? In rural India you can get petrol and not electricity. They sell gas on off the backs of donkeys, you can not put an electrical grid on the back of a donkey. You have no idea how big and complicated an electrical grid is. You are talking out of your ass, ignorant, and one sheltered person.

I have no idea why you are using insults for your arguments. In 1900's if you brought automobile into remote area in Vietnam you had no guarantee you would be able to get fuel. The fuel infrastructure grew alongside the spread of the vehicles.

Electric infrastructure is in place for most of the world - most of Asia, Americas, Europe is electrified. The only place where you are unsure if you will be able to get electricity are central African countries and islands e.g. in Caribbean. One proof is that you will find cellphones anywhere, despite being appliances dependent on power for the network and the phone itself.
