Her life wasn't ruined by the internet. Her life never had a chance to be anything else, given her upbringing. She was attention seeking in all the wrong ways because our culture has been enabling female child narcissism for decades. Think about her attitude concerning the boys she expressed interest in. She had a toxic corrupted personality before the age of 11. That's sickening.

Having a piece of shit father has a lot to do with it, and a mother who didn't have the balls to protect her daughter. Don't undersell the importance of having good parents or role models for a child.

She's clearly deeply mentally ill, the seeds of that were planted long before the internet thing happen.

She's not mentally ill. She's a ridiculously spoiled brat who has become warped after a lifetime of no boundaries and very few consequences. If she were a boy it never would have gone this far. Boys are threatened with violence when they refuse to be reasonable. Girls are coddled, enabled, and all of their feelings are validated as somehow correct. Look at this freak of nature being portrayed as a victim for all the world to feel sorry for. It's the system of female empowerment that created it, not the internet.

Wake up, planet.
