The U.S. said Monday it would change two aspects of the programs that have been criticized by insurers. Andy Slavitt, acting administrator at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, said the government will eliminate some special enrollment periods for Obamacare policies, and tighten the rules for others. Insurers had complained that less healthy individuals were signing up during those periods and using more care.

The government also said it may tweak the methodology it uses to determine the payments made to insurers that end up with more sick customers, known as risk adjustments. CMS wants to provide carriers with information about the risk adjustments more quickly than in the past, Slavitt said .

I guess Obama can just change a law to suit his needs. Not to mention that he is eliminating a policy that actually helped people.
