It might be interesting to see how this plays out. In the meantime, making homosexual propaganda illegal in the public will be the best angle to end all the problems including 'gay marriage'.

I'm upvoting you even though I disagree strongly.

So... lets be clear. You are proposing restricting "Homosexual Propaganda."

Now, since I don't exactly see posters anywhere attacking heterosexuality (whereas I see PLENTY of groups dedicated to attacking homosexuality), I have to say I don't exactly agree with your classification of propaganda. That being said, things such as pride parades are protected speech under the first amendment. You propose restricting free speech and freedom of assembly related to a perfectly legal practice that you don't personally approve of, but many do. You want to restrict an inalienable right of others because you don't AGREE with what they are saying? So; What if I don't agree with you? by your logic, I should have the right to infringe upon your freedom of expression, simply because I don't agree. Or do you propose centrally creating a narrative that must be followed and agreed with, or you loose your right to speak? Such a system would be Orwellian. No matter how I interpret your vague statement, it's not good...

I'm a lifetime denizen of the deep south. They don't much like gay people. "Certain holes warnt meant fer penetration" is a sentence I've actually heard out loud, and in earnest.

But I want to tell you that there is a thriving liberty streak down here, and what you just said? You'd be amazed how strongly it would resonate with most of my hick neighbors. Neighbors who, words aside, honestly don't give a rat's ass what goes on behind closed doors.

Sometimes I just feel the need to stick up for these folks; they're not as bad as their caricatures on TV.

I love good people and more than anything I'm interested in letting society heal and become great again. So this means giving children our best possible chance at normal unhindered successful lives. So that's my #1 point and purpose.

Yes, homosexuality is the problem and what I disagree with but thats not really the point. I happen to enjoy heterosexuals very much and even encourage it and yet I don't want it allowed to be promoted in public spaces and anywhere families or children will be subjected to it.

This is a 'win-win' for everyone. As you know a good sized portion of society finds homosexuality to be a disgusting abomination against God and nature, a vile and repulsive act and then some as a weird and low (debased, degenerate) sexual act. piggish behavior. Many just find it very inappropriate and dont want to see it.

So, other countries have progressed to 'win win' solves everything solutions which is sometimes called the 'Russian anti-gay propaganda law' because they were the first and a little ahead of their time and basically it simply does what you and I already do all the time in our society:

  • It treats it as pornography. The same as 'BDSMosexuality' or 'sado-masochistsexuality' or hetero-Fistingsexuality or pro-prostitution adverts or even 'phone fuck adverts' or any kind of sexual pornography - its not allowed in public places. Anywhere in government buildings, anywhere in parks, public anywhere. Or any private places that are open to the general public or are admitting children (they may disallow children then promote homosexuality after kids are gone).

We do that today. Everywhere, constantly and its not the slightest bit controversial and is actually so well understood and accepted you can barely find anyone who disagrees. Even pornographers will strongly agree they DO NOT WANT their products seen by children.

The win for homosexuals is that that ends anymore hate in public for them. Nobody is upset. Nobody can blame them for anything anymore AND they are absolutely 100% free to do whatever they like in their own gay clubs, their own private toilets and their own bedrooms! Meanwhile, that ends any more vile offense by those offended, from hardcore Jews, Muslim migrants or Orthodox grandmothers who now do not need to see a vile offense promoted in their public spaces.

I'm not up on all the countries going this way but I'm told Romania and Bulgaria have passed or will soon pass similar laws. I'm told Ukraine has that law already passed years ago (?) but the exciting news is that China has just recently 'in effect' clarified its position making it the same situation for now 1.4 billion people.

*Its a little difficult to explain how China works to westerners (hell, i live here and can only grasp it loosely) but basically China did something so interesting in that they gave approval for a 'gay meeting app'. basically like these 'Tinder' apps but for gays. CCTV even proudly touted the app as a great Chinese innovation. Gays simply register using their phone numbers (which are registered with the government themselves). Okay, they tap and match and nobody stops them! Now, this week China's government clarified they will no longer allow depictions of homosexuality (or other deviant sexuality) on TV, print, media etc etc. Now, in a sense we already knew China doesn't allow 'gay propaganda' in public places HOWEVER this was a clarfication and marking it as acknowledged by the State and so it will be.

So now that half the world has progressed to this step we simply have to start catching up. In fact, we actually do this all the time. You cannot promote, endorse, encourage aka 'propaganda' most sexual acts in public. So you simply add homosexuality to the list and its done and done.
