Regarding the list item about how there's a hunky guy who doesn't talk, well it seems pretty hypocritical to me. If feminists truly do believe that such things are harmful, then they should be for eliminating it on all fronts rather than celebrating it when it is men. I guess the idea is that it will make it more "fair" somehow by dragging other people down. Now, personally I don't believe people being sexy in movies drags anyone down but they clearly believe that and that's why they look like huge jerks for thinking it is so great when it's men.

And if they'd argue that men have it so good most of the time that we should be able to take it, well I guess I wouldn't disagree about it not being harmful to us but that's because we don't usually seek validation from the way men are in movies. Still, it is a bit arrogant for them to presume they know what my psyche can endure when they're also telling me about how I need to shut up and listen to women's experiences and critiquing their complaints of every imagined slight is somehow off limits.
