Edit: Also the article is in general, predicting this is some sign of things to come without anything but fantastical language. These aren't facts, they're the same regurgitated points the doomsday obsessed make in reference to anything. The fact this was upvoted so heavily and defended here on Voat leads me to believe the community has very low standards. Look in the archive of this site to see more signs of imminent collapse that never happened. If the people running this site had any real knowledge of the things they write about they would at least be able to afford a website that isn't complete shit that relies on ads of Jewish conspiracy books to stay afloat.
28 voats isn't indicative of what "people desire." If I want to say these protests are a sign of Jesus' second coming it's just as legitimate as the end of times conspiracy stuff on this site, there'a a million things that could be just as true if the bar is that low for evidence. Still hasn't happened, and look at Baltimore now, as usual the "start of something MUCH bigger" is a lie and it's unfortunate 28 people on voat bought into the clickbait title and drove traffic to this terrible site.
How does it feel to be losing control of the narrative thanks to all these "kooky" independent blog sites? Take your shilling for the status quo back to reddit. You're not fooling anyone here.
If I want to criticize terrible news sources I will, don't care about "narrative" or whether some random person on the internet thinks im a "shill," whatever that means.
If you have no problem with people online writing anything they feel like and calling it legitimate journalism then that's not my problem but I'm gonna rip on it either way.

If anything, the number of upvotes would indicate to me that this is the reality that people desire. True change.
