My thoughts exactly. When people feel like they're not in control of their future and are being ignored it is a natural human response to want to lash out and try to make themselves be heard. This will only continue to escalate until something changes. Writing it off as violent thugs and opportunists is foolish and intentionally dishonest. The US media seem unwilling to acknowledge that there is very serious discontent brewing.

Precisely. This is intentionally dishonest because if they were truthful:
"Baltimore has had it up to here with crony politics and corruption upon most high and have taken to the streets to voice their concerns. Any red-blooded American is requested to act in kind - leave your jobs, leave your TVs, leave your status quo, and start the new paradigm - it begins with YOU!"
