I dont think sympathy should be a major feeling here, the major concern is that she can be deradicalized in 6 years, or however long til parole board frees her.
Probably not going to happen considering that prisons have become a breading ground for radical Islamists. It would probably be a better idea to send them to psych wards, or someplace where they could be isolated from other radicals.
So, general prison population with no muslims in her section, or a wing for islamists/radicals, which would either be solitary or would just encourage them to stay radical. Not easy when you think about it.
