I don't think my views of what's happening in the world could be simplified to a few paragraphs. People are responsible for their own personal faculties. Religions all over are open to interpretation and there are those who are guided through the lessons of love just as there are those that are guided through fear. Ultimately the collective will side with the message that sounds most true in the moment. Oligarchs are creating terrorism but that doesn't excuse the Muslims committing it. But those behind the Paris attacks, for example, were paid mercenaries from my point of view. Islamic terrorism is the narrative being pushed. No different to any major conflict in history. The rulers push an idealistic narrative but if you just follow the money you'll see those at the top simply get richer while we continue to scrap about bullshit

Yes, that is the path to error. You've been on that path for too long. It will not explain what we see today. Islam did not have a Enlightenment and so it is not this "free and easy" ala carte religion that reflects each persons personal moral understanding as Christianity has come to be. I know you don't get this, cannot bring yourself to reconsider your position here. I have to trust, though, that the weight of evidence pointing to Islam being rigid/not-personal will wear down your own denial. If you just keep paying attention, I think you will come to this conclusion. Reading the Koran (NJ Dawood Translation) would speed up this process for you. At some point you will see the cult nature of Islam where it is deadly sin (with violent ramifications) to accept gays and apostates and admitting doubt in one's Muslim community.

"Oligarchs are creating terrorism" "those behind the Paris attacks, for example, were paid mercenaries"

Suicide attacks simply don't match the mercenary narrative. This is not complicated.

Oh boy you guys really are silly aren't you? Can't see 4 inches in front of your own face. Yes I'm aware that Islam needs a lot of bloody work but they're going through their enlightenment right now. If you throw all Muslims under the same blanket it's you who's the small minded fool, not me. You take the Trump approach: kill them all. I take the opportunity approach: happy to take in the ones who are open to assimilation who have skills and add value to the economy and those who want to practice Sharia Law or whatever are free to do so in their desert-locked countries. Look at Westboro Baptist and tell me there are no modern examples of Christians who oppress others and if given the opportunity wouldn't resort to violence. The whole point of developing a society is one bolstered by law and order. Not ruled by, but bolstered by.

Those who step out of line or act against the nation's goals are disciplined accordingly but overall the point is to move forward. The US is a multicultural nation with many, many practicing Muslims who have already been living there for generations. You think they all need to be put in a camp to learn your version of theology despite the fact that they've committed no indecent acts in the eyes of the law or society's moral code? What God someone prays to is their own business until they try to impose their views on others. You want to get pissy with some Muslims for trying to violently enforce their religion on others? No worries. But you need to open a fucking history book and realise every sect of every religion throughout time has always, at one point or another, gone to war with another group because they disagree with the other group's interpretation over who has the better God.
