I am a little bit surprised they used christian symbols to depict the murderous deity (The triangel is a symbol for the christian trinity).

That triangle with the eye in the centre is not a symbol for the Christian trinity, it is a symbol of the Illuminati. Perhaps the paper is indicating that the incident had nothing to do with religion and everything to do with the conspiracy theories suggesting that mercenaries were behind the attack, not terrorists.

Christianity predates the illuminati.

In "Renaissance European iconography" the triangle with the eye in the center "was an explicit image of the Christian Trinity." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye_of_Providence#Religious_use

It is also a typical christian custom to depict God Father with a triangle halo: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Rilakloster_Wandgem%C3%A4lde_a_20090407_012.JPG https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Eberndorf-_West-_Bildstock_-_Hl_Dreifaltigkeit.jpg

Very odd, but Christians will most likely not show up to kill them. They evidently learned who they can and cannot piss off.

Uhhh... wut? That image is clearly the All Seeing Eye, not the Triune Cross. The Trinity in Christianity is usually represented by the cross... The All Seeing Eye has different connotations....
