You know that cop has treated lots of people like that. It should be a felony for an officer of the law to violate your rights like this. Protect and serve, indeed.

My dad broke that wall numerous times. He had to fight his way up the ladder via solid police work alone and was blocked many times. At least he was respected and retired with a clean conscious.

Public Servants, whether elected, appointed, hired or contracted, who violate someones constitutional rights should be barred from public 'service' for life, personally liable for their actions and forfeit all accrued benefits.

I totally agree. Also, the price for the power you get is that if you break the trust that people has put in you then you will be sentenced with harder and more severe rules than regular people do. If you don't like it then don't become a cop, go working at McDonalds, as many others do. Power must come at a price.
