If the Chinese are serious about standing up to American aggression, they should sign a full military alliance with Russia, with a mutual defense commitment at least as strong as that between the NATO countries. Preferably including Syria, Iran and Iraq as members. The fascist neocons who rule the US will not stop pushing unless they are confronted by the credible threat of force, the only language they understand.

The neocons are fond of drawing parallels to the Munich conference of 1938, and denouncing "appeasement," while their opponents (ie. the few remaining voices of reason in the US) typically deny the validity of the analogy. But in fact, the world really does face a situation reminiscent of 1938 - if you realize that the USA is playing the role of Nazi Germany then the analogy works quite well. The USA is the aggressive superpower bent on world domination. The USA is the country gripped by insane, fanatical militarism. The USA is the country whose "diplomacy" consists of a machine-gun-like staccato of strident threats and ultimatums.

A determined, well-organized coalition to contain American aggression is desperately needed.

They're working on it, as you may know. They just need to gather a few more pieces of the puzzle before fully committing to mutual defense.

The clock is ticking and the genie is out of the bottle. If WW3 doesn't happen within the next 15 years, WW3 will be economical, not physical.
