How can they call them terrorists hiding behind hoods when the same thing was said about anonymous four years ago, that they were terrorists hiding behind internet anonymity? Hypocrisy doesn't matter when you're a moralfag!

Because they are not the same people.

Very true. A lot of people don't understand how Anonymous isn't really an organized group in any way.

He uses the pronoun "they" and the plural "terrorists", so probably not.

you're a moralfag!

Pretty sure they were just trolling or being sarcastic. That's the wording I'd expect someone from /b/ to use.

What a fucking annoying headline you've created there.

Despite what the news seems to tell everyone, Anon isn't a group of people with any level of organization.

It is literally everybody. Its simply comes when needed.

Any idiot you ever see on TV etc, claiming to be "part of Anonymous" has no fucking idea what Anonymous is.

What's great about the Anonymous moniker is any SJW can use it to give their impotent rage imaginary weight

The KKK has rights just like everyone else. It's just that there beliefs don't fit well into our society. They aren't doing anything illegal or harming anyone, therefore they should not be punished.

I don't agree with KKK's beliefs, but it doesn't mean that I should jump on a hate-bandwagon against them just because everyone else is.

I don't feel bad for them to get their information leaked though. Just like I wouldn't mind if they exposed some BLM cunts

[–] NoneOfTheAbove 1 points 2 points (+3|-1) ago

But it isn't the government punishing them. That's what freedom of speech is. Anonymous is not the government and will punish anything it sees fit.

The KKK in my area still harasses black people. They try to have a rally in a big park near the HS every few years. So I don't care for them

The last rally was pathetic with 3 members showing up, but they used to get 50 or 60.

Except for it being completely hypocritical for a group who hides behind anonymity to threaten to expose others. They're no different from gay dudes who would "out" other dudes out of spite. In other words, petty faggots with no spine.

I have no love for the KKK, but this enforces a precedent that it's OK to target people just because you don't like their ideas... and I really just can't get over how faggy the idea of anonymous threatening to "expose" people when they are hiding from public view themselves.

So stupid.. how about you go after a group that actually causes trouble? Going after the KKK in 2015 is like going after Shriners... it will make society is SOOOOO much better, thanksth guysth.

When the hell did Anon become SJW?

[–] Upvoats_McGoats 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

It's not, at least not in the way SJW is thrown around these days. Social justice is a real thing and it's good to fight for - SJWs are usually misguided. The SJW stereotype and Anon are not the same, but we're in /v/news so what do you expect?

[–] Gamio 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

Never, the capable ones that were trying to right some wrongs started leaving anon once the IRC channels started to fill up with posers, shills and idiots. Whats left is nothing but a group of "anarchy lite" nobodies that are so easily co-opted and impersonated that no one takes them seriously.

Wasn't so long ago that an "anon" video came out threatening to "take down" GamerGate because of misogyny, harassment etc and nothing ever happened.
