I hated losing an hour of sleep, but it was worth it for being outside until about 7:45 last night. I don't disagree with the points in the article, I just like having an extra hour of sunlight at the end of the day. Going through an entire work day cooped up inside doesn't feel so bad when you've got a couple hours of solid daylight to enjoy afterwards. Plus there are countless studies supporting the assertion that sunlight and being outside are good for your health, and I wouldn't be spending that hour outside if it were in the morning before work. That's just me though.

I'm the opposite, I take the dog out for a walk before I leave for work in the morning, now it'll be in the dark, again.

I just started leaving for work when it was light out, and now i get to see the sunrise during my commute, again. It does have its pros and cons, maybe we should all just work 5 hour days and then we can have it good on both ends.

We don't observe DST here on the island, and I prefer it that way.

You are exactly right. People should be getting more sunlight, not less these days.

What a poorly researched and useless article.

I'm cool with Daylight Savings time. It's Standard time that has to go. In this day how many people want Sunrise to be at 6:50am and sunset at 6:30pm?

Even in the winter when days are shorter I'd much rather wake up and drive to work in the dark than drive home and it already be night when I get there.

I hate daylight savings as much as the next person but this article is stretching it. Alot of correlations and not any causations.

Crikey, that article is something I would have expected to see sandwiched between the handyman ads in the local fishwrapper, not the Atlantic. My, how the exalted have fallen.
