Can confirm. I thought it was pretty bad in Montreal, with all the Haitians and Algerians and other ex-French colonies, until I visited Toronto last summer. Indians and Muslims everywhere. People bathing in public pools fully clothed, among other perks. I love this country but the large cities have become a lot shittier, doesn't feel like Canada at all.

Honestly, I can't wrap my head around how often people here pull complete bullshit numbers right out of their ass to try and justify their ignorance.
We get a bit less than 250,000 per year http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/2014-Facts-Permanent.pdf#page=7
It has NEVER been anywhere close to 1,000,000 per year http://www.statcan.gc.ca/pub/91-003-x/2007001/figures/figure17-en.gif
Our immigrants are not mostly Middle Eastern http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/statistics/facts2010/images/perm_res_10_source_countries.gif
