Better yet, telling me that none of those compagnies could lobby hardcore against it just proves that they approve of it.
Isn't there proof for microsoft and facebook giving private informations to states already?

actually, they do not want this because it would then turn their product (your data) even more public, thus, they can no longer sell it. It's like trying to auction off ice to eskimos
drug dealers don't want to legalize drugs.. same reason
