Don't demonize a free product for using your data - that's how free products thrive. Google search engine already does this, you won't escape it unless you kick them to the curb too.

They've been doing this for a long time, and you can fairly easily turn it off.

So if I go to a friend's house and use their pc that has AVG and I sign into Google as a Guest.... can I sue AVG? I didn't consent to them using my data and my friend certainly cannot consent for me in my absence or in anticipation of my personal use of their pc at some magical point in the future.
