If you knew the home-educated typically score 15 to 30 percentile points above public-school students on standardized academic achievement tests you probably wouldn't have made that "joke."

Nheri.org, a biased pro-homeschooling site reads:

Other than plagiarism, you learned some bad history at home.

Nheri claims that all their points are backed up, but they don't provide footnotes. Maybe the author was home schooled.

How many standardized tests are home-schooled kids allowed to take at home? It seems like being able to take your time and look up the answers would lead to better test performance.
