So I guess it's all good that you sneaked a new mod in with css tricks and there's the question of the incubator sub. Lots of questionable actions here and no accountability until you were caught out, I don't know what you lot are playing at. You couldn't act more suspect and dishonestly if you were trying to.

I'm sorry, but I don't buy this for one second. ALL submissions have at least two upvoats here. In case your mod wants to go happy delete mode, don't worry, I took the liberty of archiving it for you.

This is clear vote manipulation.

Secondly, as others have pointed out, your CSS is hiding this mod. This was a very bad call to make along with the upvoating mentioned above.

Third, this mod is spuriously deleting posts in their own subverse without comment, further throwing into doubt what kind of mod they are here. I've said it once and I'll say it again: You cannot act like a jerk somewhere else and put on a mod mantle and expect people to respect you. The reason blahblahgabor deleted those things in his sub was because he got pissed. So again he shows that he's not mod material.

Edit: I also realized WHY this mod deletes everything in the subverse, he's afraid of getting his upvoat cabal bullshit downvoated by everyone once they find out it's another @she in progress happening here. Innocent comments which are not breaking the rules are getting DELETED by this mod. I think this might be the worst case of mod power abuse I've seen so far on this site. The sub has a 2000 CCP limit which means that it's definitely geared towards upvoat manipulation.

Edit2: I also find it hilarious that I have exactly two downvoats on this comment, I think I ruffled some feathers... ;)

a[href="/user/shiningstar"] {
    font-size: 0px;

Explain why you hid him from users using the CSS.

Making an error like this is unlikely, however is not improbable; so if it was a simple error fix it immediately.

If this was done on purpose I want an explanation as to why you felt it was appropriate to hide somebody who had the ability to delete dissenting views and ban users.

To fool the users. Plain and simple.

probably for the drama, some people love rolling in filth.

This is all well and good, but one thing still bothers me -- what's with the /v/ShiningStarlight sub?

[–] Kad 0 points 11 points (+11|-0) ago

I would wager it was to ensure the account had the minimum requirements for moderation, although that seems unlikely considering the person behind the account already met that criteria.

[–] Jefiakra 0 points 9 points (+9|-0) ago

You're probably correct, but I'd like an official clarification on it.

[–] kevdude 4 points 21 points (+25|-4) ago

Why is shiningstar deleting everyone's comments in their fake sub? https://voat.co/v/shiningstarlight/modlog/deletedcomments

Is this practice? LOL.

Well, that won't do much difference...

Bullshit. It's obvious that you're creating new undercover mods to start censoring this sub while maintaining plausible deniability. Fess up and admit the truth instead of lying to us and treating us like children. This is all about controlling the flow of information.

[–] kevdude 0 points 6 points (+6|-0) ago

Ask them about Rule #1 and watch them not answer.

[–] steel_sushi 2 points 16 points (+18|-2) ago  (edited ago)

/v/shiningstarlight is an obvious example of vote manipulation. Provide the screenshots of the conversation & I'll be more inclined to believe you. Also, why wasn't /u/shiningstarlight in the mod list? I'd bet money that it's because you got exposed.

[–] Kad 2 points 11 points (+13|-2) ago

Wasn't on the mod list because they hid the account using the CSS of the sub, deliberately or not this was an inappropriate action and must be rectified.

[–] Mr_Sir 1 points 14 points (+15|-1) ago  (edited ago)

Come on mods. Even if this is true, you're creating animosity with the subscribers when you lack any sense of transparency..well at least until you get called out. Sketchy, sketchy.

They still haven't addressed Rule #1
