I don't think we should jump to any conclusions here. Oklahoma did pass a bill recognizing 2014 as the 60th anniversary of adding "under God" to the pledge of allegiance. So, yea know, maybe god's just mad. He made more small earthquakes to show his displeasure, may have nothing to do with fracking at all.

I'm from Oklahoma. It's absurd.

"Nothing to see here! Definitely not the fracking. Move along!"

Right. I completely believe you.

As someone who has experienced this first hand, it's gotten to be a serious problem for home and building owners. Oklahoma buildings were not made with earthquakes in mind, and our house has suffered so much structural damage over the past few years from the quakes, and I even saw one of the older university buildings lose a corner (which took months to fix). I only hope that there's still time to stop this before it's too late.

I think, unfortunately, that it is too late. Even if it were possible to recover all the waste water the damage is done. Probably after a few hundred years it will go back to normal.

One day, I was sleeping there, and I heard a loud BOOM outside. Didn't see any construction or ruckus. I swear it was the Earth moving or something, because I never experienced anything like that in the Midwest where I'm from.

Funny how often I hear about underground rumbling and explosions near populated areas in the states and not the rest of the world...

By any chance have hikers gone missing in your area?

People will adjust as they always have. Now there's a market for protection against earthquakes in Oklahoma. You're welcome!

What's the damage, in dollars?
